One of my favorite things about fashion is getting to watch a trend develop based on someone’s inspiration from an earlier time. One of my favorite styles right now is denim on denim. A classic pairing that evolves a little each time it rebounds. Here are a few details that make or break this look:

· You want to stand out. Don’t let your denim colors run together. Mix darks and lights so your denim pieces pop. American Eagle Outfitters is one of my favorite places to snag a great denim pairing!
·There can be too much of a good thing. No denim accessories. If you’re going for blue colored accessories make sure the tones of blue and denim go well with each other.
·Distressed denim is a definite, but balance is key. If your jeans are destroyed stick with a cleaner looking top.
·Last but not least, dress up your denim…with your hair!

Hair is elemental to fashion; some of the biggest alterations in trends are the hairstyles that complement them. Just like millions of other women, I think that man bobs and man buns are the perfect match for doubling up on denim. To all the guys that are ready to give up on growing out their attention grabbing locks, hang in there. You’ll still need pretty regular haircuts (around every 8-12 weeks), and your Collage stylist can explain easy ways to style your hair that are sure to make heads turn in your direction.
